Warlord match: one commands the siege, the rest defend

How to play
  • WASD / arrows to move, mouse to aim and attack (on phones: left thumb moves, right thumb aims)
  • Thirteen defenders in four roles (offense, defense, support, hybrid): pick one to see its numbers, its kit and the classes it makes synergies with
  • Hold E near a wall to repair or rebuild it (costs team gold)
  • After each wave pick an upgrade card (1/2/3). Rare and epic cards are stronger; epics unlock when you own their ingredients
  • Don't like the draft? Reroll it (first one each wave is free) or skip it for team gold
  • Skill cards add abilities on Q, R and F (up to three, each levels to 3)
  • Every class has a combat kit: Shift dashes (roll, shield charge or blink), Right mouse is the signature move (charged shot, block, flame wave) and X fires the ultimate once its meter is full
  • Heroes level up as they fight; T opens the talent tree (three branches per class) to spend each point
  • B opens the team shop: arm the towers, reinforce walls, ward the Heartstone
  • Synergies: kits combine across the team (a Knight launches a foe, a Mage's fireball makes it a Meteor Strike). Each one pays team gold and combo; Tab opens the codex of every synergy you have found
  • Stand by a fallen friend to revive them. Space (or the Start the night button) votes to end the break early
  • Esc opens the menu: invite friends, sound, the full controls list, and Leave game. Lost your connection or reloaded? You rejoin your hero automatically within a minute
  • Sappers blow up walls, Archers shoot from range, Brutes and bosses wind up a smash (get out of the red circle), and every fifth night a boss arrives. Survive night 25 to win
  • Four keeps: Holdfast Keep, Bridgehold (bridges, then a ford), Cliffwatch (three sides, archer ledges) and Valley Hold (twin courtyards). Rain, fog and snow change the fight, and from night 6 night events (Blood Moon, Thunderstorm, Ghost Fog, Siege Engines, Bounty Hunt) are announced in the wave preview
  • Warlord match: one friend commands the siege with a budget of Dread (1–0 summon, I/J/K/L pick a side, Q war cry, N end night). Defenders win by holding 15 nights
